With Kyiv being completely safe, its prices, people, food, culture and architecture made it an absolutely fantastic travel destination.
Since January 2014 the local currency Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH) had lost nearly half its value against the US Dollar. Though prices have also gone up, the prices for accommodations, food, tickets for attractions are offered at almost half price compared with the beginning of 2014 if calculated in Euro or US Dollar.
