About 1,500 Ukrainian pro-government fighters and far-right supporters have marched through the centre of the capital on the 3rd of July 2015. Demostrators called on the government to end the Minsk ceasefire accord and declare war on pro-Russian rebels in the east. There weren’t any confrontations during the protests and police presence was low. The protesters gathered at the places where clashes between Maidan activists and security forces took place last year to pay tribute to the activists who died in those clashes. Protesters gathered near Dynamo Stadium set more than 20 tires alight in commemoration of the last year’s Maidan’s events. |
